The Lonely Island were able to rope in Adam Levine, P!nk, Akon, Linkin Park and Seal for their Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping soundtrack back in 2016. Now, the trio have announced that the star-powered collection is coming to vinyl.
Available now through Mondo, the soundtrack arrives as a 180-gram, 2-LP set. The soundtrack is available in five different jacket variants based on albums from fictional film groups Style Boyz and Connor4Real, including Donkey Roll, Standing in Front of Buildings, Thriller, Also, and Style Boyz. A fifth variant — Connor4Real's Connquest — will go on sale at a later date.
The vinyl releases will also be sold during the Lonely Island's summer tour. You can pre-order the variants through Mondo.
Late last month, the Lonely Island released a "visual poem" through Netflix titled The Unauthorized Bash Brothers Experience. The film and standalone album imagine an alternate 1988 where baseball legends Mark McGwire and Jose Canseco had rap careers, and you best believe the real Jose Canseco approves.
