Monty Python co-founder John Cleese is looking for a temporary stay in Ontario's cottage country.

Today, the comedian posted a call for rental homes in Huntsville, ON, a town in the Muskoka Region of Ontario's Canadian Shield that is known as a summer vacation spot and for its proximity to Algonquin Provincial Park.

"Does anyone in Huntsville, Ontario have a nice place I can rent to live in while I make a film?" Cleese asked on Twitter today. "Airbnb took our money but now say they've given our house to someone else. (Why did they take the money, then ?)"

It remains unclear if the shoot will take place inside the rental, or if Cleese is looking to stay nearby while shooting at a separate location. Either way, locals have been responding to the post in droves, offering up their homes and boosting Cleese's signal far and wide.

One user even suggested making another film about the Airbnb fiasco: "I don't know about you, John Cleese, but that sounds like a funny movie plot...no room so forced to stay with a family of oddballs while working on a film..."

After Huntsville became a trending topic on Twitter, Airbnb finally contacted Cleese through its customer service channel:
