Caitlyn Jenner Agrees with Dave Chappelle, Because of Course She Does

The reality star and former Olympian tweeted a message of support amid the still-ongoing controversy surrounding the comedian's Netflix special

Caitlyn Jenner is obviously known for her super chill, thoughtful, and intelligent opinions, so it only makes sense that she would weigh in on the current Dave Chappelle controversy

Jenner — former Olympian, reality star and would-be-politician — took to Twitter yesterday (October 26) to voice her support for Chappelle atop a video that the comedian posted to his Instagram recently wherein he doubles down and complains that he's being silenced by Netflix, claiming that he "can't go to the office anymore."

It should probably be noted that The Closer remains on Netflix and has made Chappelle several millions of dollars, while 2021 has been a record-breaking year for anti-trans legislation in America.

Jenner's tweet reads:

"Dave Chappelle is 100% right. This isn't about the LGBTQ movement. It's about woke cancel culture run amok, trying to silence free speech.

We must never yield or bow to those who wish to stop us from speaking our minds."

In the clip, Chappelle reiterates that despite what was said by trans activist Ashlee Marie Preston, he claims to have never been invited to speak with Netflix's trans employee resource group.

So for those keeping track at home, when Dave Chappelle speaks out against something that upsets him, it's exercising free speech, and if anyone else does the same, it's crybaby cancel culture run amok. Got it? Okay cool.
