Indie auteur Kevin Smith has always had a tendency to overshare — particularly on Twitter, where he apparently has no filter. That's why it should come as no surprise that his review of Kyle Mooney and Dave McCary's new film Brigsby Bear is, well, awkward as all hell.
To be fair, the film is one of our favourites from Sundance. In our review, saying "it's sure to stand as one of 2017's most unique films."
Smith's review, however, contains no words. Instead, it's a video of him watching 90 seconds of the flick and, in the process, tearing up.
Watch the bafflingly intimate video below, where you'll also find the Brigsby Bear trailer. The film opens in Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal on August 4.

This is the best review I can give to the astoundingly wonderful @BrigsbyBear, my fave movie of the year! Watch me run a gamut of emotions! pic.twitter.com/O0Yy2NLiRa
