As we recently reported, West Coast retro rock outfit Yukon Blonde will be ending their dry spell with a new four-song EP, entitled Fire//Water. It isn't due out until September 20 via Nevado, but right now you can dig into a full stream of the release.
The four-song effort was produced by Colin Stewart (Black Mountain, Ladyhawk) and, according to the press release, "marks a transition, foreshadowing an evolving sound for the band as they explore new territory in their songwriting and continue to grow as musicians."
Along with Fire//Water, Yukon Blonde are currently working on a full-length follow-up to their self-titled 2010 debut. But for now, check out the EP below and catch the band on their lengthy North American tour, which includes a bevy of Canadian dates. You can see the complete schedule here.
