Earlier this year, we praised Toronto's Young Empires for embracing "the cheesy nature of their disco-tinged style." Now, you can get some more of the band's gratifyingly danceable sound thanks to a new remix.
ColeCo reworked the stand-alone single "We Don't Sleep Tonight" (which plays off the title of a song from Young Empires' Wake All My Youth EP called "Let You Sleep Tonight"). The first minute of the remix is swirling and expansive, but things soon pick up thanks to a thudding, persistent dance beat.
