Yoko Ono to Pen Book About Life with John Lennon

Okay, file this one under "Really? It took that long?": Yoko Ono has announced she will be writing a book about her life and times with John Lennon.

The 76-year-old says that she will be writing the book over the next few years, reports Yahoo UK. It doesn't seem too set in stone just yet, but Ono has said she "would love to do it," it just comes down to finding the time. She has confirmed this much: that it will be her next book and it will be written in the next five years.

Ono, long blamed by lots of Beatles diehards for being the reason the band broke up, has said in the past that she would not write a book about her life with Lennon out of respect for those close to the group, such as his ex-wife Cynthia Lennon.

No official word on why Ono changed her tune now; maybe she wants to start catching up to Cynthia's two books about John.
