Though YACHT have yet to properly announce a follow-up to their 2011 set Shangri-La, the buoyant L.A. pop duo will be sailing into venues across North America later this fall.
Though the group have a handful of upcoming shows coming up this summer, the proper tour plans don't start up until September. While primarily taking place down in the U.S., there are Canadian shows set up at Toronto's Hoxton venue on September 26 and at Vancouver's Fortune Sound Club on October 2. White Fang will be joining the group on all of the fall dates, and you can see the full schedule down below.
Despite recently premiering their new "Plastic Soul" single, it's unclear when the band will deliver their next full-length LP. You'll find the video for the track beneath the tour info.
In other news, YACHT are flexing their multimedia skills by launching a new app called "5 Every Day." The free phone app was designed by the group's Jona Bechtolt and Claire L. Evans, with a press release explaining that, as the name implies, it'll present five options of interesting things to do in Los Angeles every day. The app will present anything from "architectural sights and hikes to art happenings, secret shows, neighborhood favorites, ethnic grocery stores, and club nights," with the events split up across art, city, food, music and "wildcard" categories.
