After reuniting at the top of the year, Canadian indie favourites Wolf Parade are keeping the momentum going into 2017 by revealing that they are in the studio at work on a new record.
On Instagram yesterday (December 4), the band posted a collage of snaps from the studio with the caption "Guess who's making a record!" News of a full-length comes after the band released EP 4 earlier this year.
"We very quickly decided to start with an EP," Spencer Krug told Exclaim! in April. "That's how the band started the first time around, a couple EPs, and we started getting used to having music in the world and it felt good to just sorta do it the same way. Not coming back with this huge statement, just an EP that we think is alright and we'll go from there."
Wolf Parade also gave their Apologies to the Queen Mary the deluxe reissue treatment earlier this year through Sub Pop. Take in the sights of their studio session below.
