Wolf Parade Reveal 'Apologies to the Queen Mary' Reissue, Add More Tour Dates

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Mar 8, 2016

Following cryptic social media teases, Canadian indie rock favourites Wolf Parade confirmed their return, announcing a series of reunion shows and promising some new material. Now, they've revealed plans to revisit a classic album by giving Apologies to the Queen Mary the deluxe reissue treatment, and they've expanded their upcoming tour schedule.

The Apologies to the Queen Mary reissue will be released as a triple LP set on May 13 through Sub Pop. Serving as the group's debut full-length effort, it was originally released back in 2005 on the same label.

The upcoming deluxe release features the album split across two LPs, with longtime collaborator Harris Newman having tackled the remastering process. Also included in the new package are a pair of self-titled EPs from 2003 and 2004 that haven't been available on vinyl until now and a previously unreleased track titled "Snakes on a Ladder." The artwork has also been revamped and is pictured above, while you'll find the full tracklistings down below.

The limited "Loser Edition" will be available on pink, blue and peach coloured vinyl and is up for pre-order over here.

The band will be returning to the road for a string of summer festival dates following the previously announced reunion shows. Find their full schedule listed below.
