Later this summer, outsider artist Willis Earl Beal will self-release Experiments in Time, his first album since ditching XL side-label Hot Charity. Today, he's shared the first song from that project.
"Traveling Eyes" is a bluesy, four-and-a-half-minute folk song that keeps things fairly simple, pairing Beal's vocals with some hushed, barely-there acoustic guitar.
Listen to "Traveling Eyes" below. Experiments in Time is scheduled to arrive on August 8.
