Today (April 3) is release day for singer-songwriter Willis Earl Beal, who dropped his debut LP, Acousmatic Sorcery, via the XL imprint Hot Charity. While he continues on with his North American tour, he has released a video for the song "Monotony."
The single-camera clip shows the troubadour donning a balaclava and a ski mask and attempting to sell some sort of leaflet or paper on a street corner. With its vintage quality and non-existent script, this video is possibly even more low-key than Beal's music. "Monotony" is aptly named.
