Captain Kirk is once again pursuing his music career. Yes, Star Trek legend William Shatner is releasing another new album.

His latest musical effort is called The Blues, and as you might guess from that title, it finds Shatner taking on a variety of blues classics. He's not doing it alone, however. On the album, Shatner will be joined by Brad Paisley, Jeff "Skunk" Baxter, Ritchie Blackmore, James Burton, Pat Travers and Albert Lee, among others.

Tracks covered on the record include "I Put a Spell on You," "The Thrill Is Gone," "I Can't Quit You Baby," "Crossroads" and "Born Under a Bad Sign." Right now, though, Shatner has shared his version of "Let's Work Together," which you can hear below.

The Blues arrives on October 2 via Cleopatra Records. And yes, that's its unfortunate album cover above.

The album follows Shatner's 2018 Iggy Pop-equipped holiday album Shatner Claus.
