The Wilderness of Manitoba have been paying the U.S. some special attention this month with some American tour dates and by recording a live U.S.-only EP. To help keep Canucks in the loop, we met with the Toronto-based folk group while they were recording at Revolution Recording for an up-close look at the Leslieville Sessions.
The group, which now includes new bass player Wes McClintock, performed "White Woods" off of last years Island of Echoes. The performance uses no overdubs and showcases the harmonies Wilderness are known for.
The Wilderness of Manitoba will be back in Toronto on March 22 to celebrate Popguru's 15th Anniversary, but until then, take a look at their live performance of "White Woods" below.
Recorded live off the floor at Revolution Recording, Toronto
Engineered and mixed by Jason Dufour, assisted by Ken Chow
Mastered by Joao Carvalho at Joao Carvalho Mastering, Toronto
Filmed by Stacey Croucher & Roberto Granados-Ocon
Edited by Nicole Ruggiero
