Veteran rock oddballs Ween fell apart in 2011, as they started the year with a disastrous performance in Vancouver, feuded over the release of some demos and went their separate ways in 2012. Now, the band have announced plans to reunite.
A post on Ween's website reveals that the band will return to Colorado — the same state where they played their final show on New Year's Eve 2012 — for a couple of President's Day weekend shows at the 1STBANK Center in Broomfield.
The gigs will take place on February 12 and 13. Fans can currently make a request to purchase tickets; this ticket-request period will end on Wednesday (November 18). Go here for more details about tickets, VIP passes and travel packages.
These shows will feature the longtime lineup of singer Gene Ween, guitarist Dean Ween, drummer Claude Coleman Jr., bassist Dave Dreiwitz and keyboardist Glenn McClelland.
It's unclear if this is a one-off reunion, or if Ween are planning to stage a full-scale comeback.
