As previously reported, prolific lo-fi popster Ty Segall will step away from the solo spotlight on the Ty Segall Band's upcoming Slaughterhouse LP, but newly leaked album track "Wave Goodbye" suggests the dude's up to his old tricks. For the record, that's a good thing.
It was hinted at that Segall and his live band "turned their amps all the way up, set their fuzz pedals on obliterate, and commenced to kick ass and take names," and the proof is in this doomy slice of psych garage.
Thick, numbskull rawk riffs chunk and chug throughout the jam, but there's some face-melting dual solos to be heard as well. Check it out below.
Slaughterhouse arrives June 26 through In the Red.
