Yeah Yeah Yeahs are set to make their much-anticipated, long-in-the-making return tomorrow with new Perfume Genius-featuring single "Spitting Off the Edge of the World." And to celebrate their comeback, the band performed a warmup show at the Teragram Ballroom in Los Angeles last night.
The trio opened the set with "Spitting Off the Edge of the World" (sans Perfume Genius) and saw them debut three additional new songs, reportedly titled "Fleez," "Burning" and "Black Top."
Fan-captured footage of "Spitting Off the Edge of the World" and "Fleez" have made their way online, and you can check them out below. The new single is a huge, glittering wave of sound that sounds a bit like Disintegration-era the Cure, while "Fleez" is an itchy, nervous rocker. They both sound rad!
"Spitting Off the Edge of the World" officially arrives tomorrow with a Ssion-directed video. See footage from last night's show below.
