Dolly Parton wasn't the only surprise celebrity at the Newport Folk Festival over the weekend — Kermit the Frog did an unannounced set and brought out some special friends too.
The green muppet performed his 1970s hit "The Rainbow Connection," backed by former Sleater-Kinney drummer Janet Weiss. He started off singing solo, but eventually brought his friend Jim James of My Morning Jacket.
