Before Björk was the revered solo artist we know and love today, she was involved with a wide variety of early projects. While most people know her for the Sugarcubes, her early groups also included the experimental punk act Tappi Tíkarrass.

The group, whose name translates to "Cork the Bitch's Ass," were active from 1981 to 1983 and released a handful of records in that time. This week, some rare live footage of the band has surfaced.

Below, you can watch a 17-year-old Björk belt out the band's bouncy single "Matahari." It's hard not to get hyped up as she pogos and skanks around the stage.
