Vast Aire Announces New Album and Cappadonna-Equipped Single

Despite a flurry of solid releases, mixtape appearances and guest spots, Cannibal Ox torch-bearer Vast Aire has been criminally underrated as a solo artist. Hopefully, that will all change, as the New York-based MC has announced a two-album deal with Man Bites Dog Records, with his first album set to drop in early 2011.

The record is called OX 2010 Street Oddyssey and is set for release in late February. The album's lead single "I Don't Care" features Wu-Tang member Cappadonna and was released as a digital maxi-single via iTunes on December 14. The 12-track release includes five original songs, five instrumentals and two radio edits.

A music video for the maxi-single track "Sour Diesel" featuring Double A.B. can be viewed below. Prior to the release of OX 2010 Street Oddyssey, the "I Don't Care" single is expected to get a limited vinyl release.
