With two disks, 45 songs, 25 years of indie music history, damn, this is one cool release. The first disc features songs from past to present on the one of the longest-running independent labels out there, featuring songs by the Zeros, Iggy and the Stooges, the Weirdos, Dead Boys, Heartbreakers and more. The second disc is chock full o' stuff from Bomp's new imprint, Alive/Total Energy, with U.S. Bombs, the Pushers, Deviants, MC5 and Swell Maps among others. Needless to say, there's a lot of great material on here.
