Meg Remy's U.S. Girls has shared a new single called "Good Kinda High." It's a collaboration with the producer Billy Wild, appearing on the deluxe edition of Wild's project Uninvited Guests, in which he samples the late Canadian classical pianist Glenn Gould and builds new collaborative works with a handful of contemporary artists.

For "Good Kinda High," Remy wrote and sang atop a funky, piano-heavy beat courtesy of Wild and co-producer Gabriel Pick that samples Gould's performances of two movements from Johann Sebastian Bach's English Suites.

"I like to imagine Gould and I as two freaks on the same leash," Remy said. "Trying to be invisible trying to be seen."

Uninvited Guests (Deluxe Edition) is out now on Primary Wave Music and Sony Masterworks

U.S. Girls' last album was 2020's Heavy Light. This summer, Remy cancelled a run of September performances in order to care for her infant twins.
