Out of the ether, it's Ty Segall! The singer-songwriter has announced a North American tour for next year — news he's sharing alongside the release of a new single, "Void."
Except for his C.I.A. project's Surgery Channel LP, Segall's new track is his first since 2022's Hello, Hi. Its simmering psychedelia charts an underwater exploration of a guitar lick that swells into aerated oblivion.
The tour kicks off next February with two back-to-back nights in San Francisco. Segall will make his way to Canada once the snow has (hopefully) melted, performing at Montreal's Club Soda on May 2 and Toronto's Danforth Music Hall on May 3. Things wrap up back where they started in California, with the singer-songwriter capping off the tour on May 11 in Sacramento.
