Since serving up Fried Shallots on an EP this past summer, Ty Segall has been rolling out singles like "Alta," "Meaning" and "My Lady's on Fire," and now he's dropped another one.
"The Main Pretender" marks Segall's latest sonic offering, and according to the track's description, it "aims to cull the herd by focusing its sights on a greatest common multiple of our society — people who just can't get see the forest for the head up their ass!"
Driven by a heavy bass line and Mikal Cronin's wild sax playing, it's a scorching rock jam.
Give it a listen below.
