A while back, Laura Hermiston (the BB Guns) and Brian Borcherdt (Holy Fuck, Dusted) teamed up as super-duo Twist. Well, now they're back with a new single called "Albuquerque."
The track retains the project's lo-fi aesthetic, featuring Hermiston's breathy vocals backed by a single, echoing electric guitar and harmonies of "ooh's." A little ways in, things pick up with the addition of a drum machine and some layers of distortion.
