Riley Reinhold, aka Triple R and the owner of Traum records, continues his mix series of super-smooth tech-house. This brisk mix slips through 15 tracks of European and British tech-house. It’s not especially minimal or glitch-y, but it’s got some real funk behind it, as well as some clanking, combined with crisp electronic beats and bass. The mixing is very smooth and the transitions between tracks are seamless; Reinhold is definitely a skilled mixer. The big names in tech-house are all here, like Dominik Eulberg, Shinedoe and John Tejada, as well as other new and obscure producers. If you enjoy mixes by Michael Mayer and Ricardo Villalobos, you will certainly like this. It’s that simple.
