Trentemøller Teams Up with the Drums on New Single, Announces New Album

BY Josiah HughesPublished May 7, 2013

It's been three years to the month since Danish electro experimenter Anders Trentemøller released his last proper full-length Into the Great Wild Yonder. After the long wait, he's finally hinting that a new album will drop this year.

The new LP — his third overall — is called Lost, and is expected to arrive this September via his own In My Room imprint.

That's not much to go on, but there is some more news. The album's first single is called "Never Stop Running," and features guest vocals from Jonny Pierce, frontman of New York indie pop group the Drums.

That single will drop digitally on May 27, followed by a proper 7-inch release on June 3. The vinyl version will also include an instrumental of the song on the flip, so it'll be perfect for your Copenhagen electronica karaoke night.

Stay tuned for more information on the new LP as it becomes available.
