Three years after issuing the Exclaim!-approved Darker Handcraft, U.S. hardcore marauders Trap Them have announced their return. Blissfucker, their second LP for Prosthetic Records and fourth overall, blows up your stereo June 10.
Not all of the details have been delivered behind this latest album just yet, but a press release explains that the band took to Salem, MA's GodCity Studio late last year to once again work with producer Kurt Ballou (Converge, Skeletonwitch), while mastering duties were handled by Jack Control (Darkthrone, Mammoth Grinder). A tracklisting has not yet been revealed, but a song premiere is expected some time tomorrow (April 8). There's also no cover art just yet, but you can see a test pressing of Blissfucker above.
In related news, this morning it was announced that Deathwish Inc., who had released Trap Them's early records, will be hosting the inaugural Deathwish Fest July 22 and 23 in Cambridge, MA. Trap Them will play both nights, as will headliners Converge, while other artists appearing at the fest include Modern Life Is War, Code Orange Kids, Doomriders, Cult Leader and more.
You can find out more about the fest here.
