Trans Am Kid

If ThanatoPop represents a cool brand of rock and roll eggheads, Trans Am Kid is the classic underachiever sitting in the back corner. On the whole, the band’s sound is a lot more kicky and scrappy. Restless energy and a couple good original songs about teenage kicks come from these Trans Am Kidz, who explain they’re not yet old enough to rent an automobile in Canada. They also claim to have seen every episode of Saved by the Bell, a fact they’re not proud of. That fact alone illustrates a huge capacity for continued improvement.
