Post-rock torchbearers Trans Am are pushing themselves back into gear for an upcoming West Coast tour in support of last year's comeback LP, Volume X.
A press release confirms that members of the self-described "heavy American electro rock" trio are currently situated in Portland and San Francisco, making a West Coast trek a natural choice. The trip zig-zags a bit, with the tour opener in Portland being followed by an up-north appearance at Vancouver's Fox Cabaret on July 6 before the band blast back down south.

As previously reported, Trans Am's Volume X is the band's 10th full-length offering. The self-produced set was described by the band as tipping its hat to everything from Kraftwerk ("Night Shift") to KIll 'Em All-styled thrash.
