Record Store Day? That's old news! With the big vinyl celebration coming up this weekend (April 22), Toronto's Kops Records has decided to rebrand the event as Taylor Swift Appreciation Day, and albums by her exes have been marked down by 25 percent.
Albums by Tay's exes Harry Styles, John Mayer and Calvin Harris are all being "dumped," i.e. prices for clearance. Cool, but what about the Jonas Brothers?
Meanwhile, most of the store's stock will be 15 percent off — and the store will be selling the usual Record Store Day releases. Which is to say that Kops is actually celebrating Record Store Day much as it ever has, but with a Swiftian twist.
