Toronto-based producer E-Saggila has announced the release of her new album Gamma Tag, arriving on January 26 via Northern Electronics. The DJ has also shared her upcoming project's title track, which is available for streaming.
"Gamma Tag" is both energizing and debilitating at the same time — it feels like receiving a barrage of lethal blows. Like the rest of the Iraq-born, Toronto-based producer's work, the track is corrosive, explosive and chaotic.
E-Saggila draws inspiration from techno, breakcore and gabber, and the influence is apparent in the frenzied arrangements on the track, which is meant to "snap us out of our digital daze," according to a press statement.
