Oasis have reunited, and while it currently remains unclear if they will come to North America, Toronto fans can get a taste of the Britpop bruvs thanks to a cover band featuring Deanna Petcoff backed by members of Tokyo Police Club, Born Ruffians and Two Hours Traffic.
The band are cheekily named Parklife, and they will play the Garrison on September 6. The lineup features Graham Wright (Tokyo Police Club) Maddy Wilde (Rapport, Spiral Beach), Nathan Hill (Two Hours Traffic) and Alex Spears.
This is Parklife's biggest show ever, following previous shows at Burdock Brewery earlier this year. Fans can surely expect all the hits of the Oasis albums that Exclaim! ranked the highest.
Also on the bill are Breeze (covering Garbage) and the Antarctic Monkeys (who we assume are an Arctic Monkeys cover band). Find details and ticket info here.
