Coming in at a weighty 96 minutes, it would be an understatement to call Tony Lionni's Just A Little More anything less than exhaustive. This sprawling, disco-tinged house odyssey is firmly oriented towards the dance floor. Throughout the record, Lionni proves that his command of groove and progression is impeccable; one can't help but feel that not only are these tracks suited to any peak time house set, but that when considered together, achieve a narrative that faithfully emulates the joyous, time-bending haze of a club in full swing. Though Just A Little More's repetitious haze at times settles for monotony, the final result is clear: Lionni has crafted an album that is greater than the sum of its tracks.
