Tom Tom Club

"Kissin' Antonio" (video)

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Dec 7, 2012

Earlier this year, Tom Tom Club issued Downtown Rockers, their first release in 12 years, and now the band have delivered a video for album track "Kissin' Antonio," which utilizes the album artwork.

The video for the bossa nova-influenced rock jam was put together by students at the Rhode Island School of Design, where band members Chris Frantz and Tina Weymouth had met David Byrne back in the '70s before forming the Talking Heads.

The clip features a number of variations on the old-school photos of Weymouth and Frantz that adorn the Downtown Rockers album cover, manipulating the images to make them dance to the track and slathering the pair in neon lip prints.

You can check the visual smorgasbord out down below, where you'll also find a download of the cut.
