Fans of Fugazi might be interested in Todd Larry Lloyd, as he takes a more amateurish approach to discordance from inside a cathartic garage. Their clangourous guitars are immediate and "in your face," and they take the term "instrument" to another level, as the sound textures are the ones that come from machines used by those who do instrumentation in factories. The repetitive tingling bite is so precise that it is as if they were plucking rusty piano strings with a pick. Although things are quite straightforward, they do wander off into different territories, albeit carefully. Although mainly a surface act, they possess the necessary projection of feel for this type of music, thus making them worthy of a listen or three.
