The campaign for Toronto's 2014 mayoral election has already begun, and current mayor Rob Ford has now been spoofed in a new video from hip-hop act Times Neue Roman.
The clip for "Late Night Toronto" shows a dude prowling through the city and hitting up clubs while wearing a hand-drawn mask of Ford. Along the way, various folks wear an assortment of Ford masks while revelling in the city's nightlife. The Glenn Michael-directed clip for this downtempo hip-hop track features cameos from rapper Rich Kidd (who also guests on the song) and mayoral candidate Keith Cole.
A press release explains, "In Times Neue Roman's #LateNightToronto, a hand-made mask, portraying Mayor Rob Ford infects the city. The mask becomes a vehicle to explore the dark and decadent geographies of Toronto after-hours."
To go along with the new video, Times Neue Roman are encouraging Instagram users to tag their after-hours photos with #LateNightToronto. The results will automatically appear here.
