The Specials Plot North American Tour

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Mar 8, 2017

Ska legends the Specials are hitting the road this June, and the band's recently announced string of shows will see them touching down in Toronto for back-to-back shows.

In fact, the North American jaunt kicks off in Toronto, with shows scheduled for June 6 and 7 at the Danforth Music Hall. From there, the group will head stateside for a few weeks before returning to Canada to play Montebello Rockfest in Montebello, QC, on June 24.

The touring lineup features original members Terry Hall, Horace Panter and Lynval Golding, as well as Ocean Colour Scene guitarist Steve Craddock on guitar and the Libertines' Gary Powell on drums.

Original trombonist Rico Rodriguez and drummer John Bradbury sadly both passed away in 2015.
