The Regrettes are sending their regrets — for good. The Los Angeles-based, '90s riot grrrl movement-indebted rock quartet have announced their breakup after almost a decade together.
"If you're reading this or you've been to a show or bought a record, you've given us all some of the best years of our lives," the band wrote on social media. "After all these amazing years together, we are parting ways to focus on other projects. There is absolutely nothing but love in our hearts for each other and you all & we're eternally grateful."
Since forming in 2015, the Regrettes have released three albums: 2017's Feel Your Feelings Fool!, 2019's How Do You Love? and last year's Further Joy. They'll play one final hometown show as a band at the Fonda Theatre on December 21.
