The Decemberists recently unveiled plans for their very own music festival dubbed Travelers' Rest in Missoula, MT, and now the band have mapped out a handful of additional shows around the event — including a couple of stops in Canada.
Prior to the festival, the Decemberists will play in Vancouver on August 8 and Calgary on August 9. Travelers' Rest will take place on August 12 and 13 in Missoula, followed by a couple extra shows in Salt Lake City on August 15 and Oakland on August 17.
Tickets for the Canadian shows go on sale Friday (March 31) at 10 a.m. local time.
Before their summer shows, the band will also be embarking in a brief jaunt through the United States with Julien Baker. You can see their full upcoming itinerary below.
The Decemberists' last studio album arrived with What a Terrible World, What a Beautiful World in 2015, though they also issued a 10th anniversary edition of The Crane Wife last year.
Luckily for fans, the band have promised to preview some new material at their upcoming live shows.
