"Because I'm Me" (video)

The Avalanches have released a series of creative videos alongside this year's Wildflower, and the latest in the set features the record's sunny opener "Because I'm Me."

Directed by Greg Brunkalla, the clip sees a young boy trying his best to impress a transit fare attendant to no avail. Instead of letting it get him down, a group of horn players and dancers appear to bring the joyous song to life, with rapper Sonny Cheeba from Camp Lo present to perform his feature verses.

Wildflower is out now through Astralwerks/Modular.

The Avalanches have also announced that are treating their Since I Left You to a new vinyl reissue. It will arrive on January 27 via Astralwerks.
