Teenage Kicks

"Houdini"

BY Alex HudsonPublished Jan 23, 2014

Toronto's Teenage Kicks are known for their no-bones-about-it rock'n'roll, and their new single, "Houdini," is sure to preserve their reputation.

The song is a riff-filled rock number that's perfectly suited for packed, sweaty clubs. It's somewhat ironic, then, that the video shows the band decked out in suits while performing at a fancy-schmancy wine and cheese event. But the alcohol flows, and the polite gathering eventually turns into a rowdy party.

This song appears on the latest instalment of Teenage Kicks' singles series. They plan to release a new album this spring.
