Teenage Idols

The Teenage Idols' debut EP features floor rumbling, Stooges-inspired grooves and Chrome Cranks eeriness. "Beat Generator" insistently hums with a slow, distorted riff, Halvard's wild voice and a thundering floor tom, while "Soul Power" is diesel-fuelled R&B and "Dead Beat Gone" is a cyclone of shattered windows and sharp-edged guitar lines. The title track builds up fierce momentum like an unhinged train loaded with dynamite. In four short songs, the Stockholm-based Teenage Idols prove they will not be left waiting in the wings in the midst of the current Swedish rock'n'roll attack.
