A damn rockin’ piece of work. Slipping in bits of AC/DC, the New York Dolls and mixing in the occasional Them (“Here Comes The City”), the Clash (“Who Are the Darlings of the Avant Garde”) and even throwing in some Exile on Main St.-era Stones (“I’m Going Home”) for good measure, Chicago’s Teenage Frames have come up with a keeper on their second full-length. Fans of the Black Halos should check this out.
