Jangly guitars, monotone vocals and a sound mixing Wire, the Stooges and a bit of old David Bowie. Even though everyone from Sonic Youth to Dinosaur Jr. cite them as an influence, they're not all that well-known. This CD gives us close to 50 minutes worth of material recorded from 1977 to '79. With 19 songs in all, including unreleased and remixed tracks; this is something that should be in your collection if you're a fan of '70s UK punk.
