Sweaters

"These guys are still around?" asks the current bio for this Canadian West Coast pop-punking rock band. Simple, up-tempo songs mainly about girls firmly entrench these guys in the classic melodic territory of their genre. Not quite Warped Tour material, yet too punky for Joe Normal, these regular guy rockers have mastered their craft, and songs like "Fishbowl" and "Anything" are energetic odes to mild dissatisfaction with romance and life in general. Maybe if one of the Sweaters gets a mohawk they could become the next Gob.
