Sudbury's urban art and music festival Up Here is back for its fourth edition. And along with a bevy of new public murals and art installations, a series of musical acts will descend upon the city.

Taking place from August 17 to 19 in downtown Sudbury, the festival will boast three days of performances, in addition to the live creation of murals and Up Here's signature 30-foot geodesic dome.

Among the headlining musical acts set to play Up Here are the likes of Venetian Snares & Daniel Lanois, Patrick Watson and Charlotte Day Wilson.

Other artists include Geoffroy, the Sorority, Efrim Manuel Menuck (Godspeed You! Black Emperor), Random Recipe, Jeremy Dutcher, Chandra, Donzelle, Mauno, TV Freaks, the Blood and Glass Quartet, Ghost Cat, Priors, Joanne Pollock, NYSSA, and many more.

The festival also promises more pop-up concerts this year, and organizers state, "Festivalgoers will want to download the official Up Here app to make sure they don't miss out on spontaneous shows on rooftops, underground chambers, and other unexpected locations."

As for all the visual art, Up Here 4 will birth six new murals with the help of legendary graffiti sculptor KWEST, along with artists BirdO, PA System, Ben Johnston, Mariana Lafrance, and Johanna Westby.

Since its foundation, Up Here has curated and created more than 24 new murals in and around downtown Sudbury.

Early bird passports have already sold out and regular passports are available here for only $100. Individual tickets are also now available.
