Exclaim! TV Garageland host Sam Sutherland is back on the streets, chatting with our new and old favourites in punk rock. This week, Sutherland talks with punk staples Strike Anywhere and Brutal Knights, as well as also caught up with the Snips. Check out these videos and more over in our Exclaim! TV section.
First up, Thomas Barnett of Richmond, VA's Strike Anywhere (pictured) gets serious about the politics of punk, revolution and the hypocritical paradigm of being a politically motivated band.
Moving onto a lighter tone, Brutal Knights frontman and comedian Nick Flanagan, pokes fun at his band and being paid, gives a sneak peak of his future plans to be mayor while talking about the end of his music career.
Finally, we caught up with Eric Pridmore of the Welland, ON's the Snips. Although it's hard to ever take Pridmore (aka Ricky) seriously, he tells us about the band's change in sound, his recent trip to the hospital and why their new disc, Blackouts, is like reading a lot.
