Beloved former Pavement frontman Stephen Malkmus and his Jicks probably won't be confused with pop megastar Taylor Swift any time too soon, but the group recently covered her mega hit "Blank Space" at a live concert.
Certainly, Swift's fist-pumping, iconic song doesn't sound quite as powerful through Malkmus's detached delivery, but it made for a fascinating live performance. Hilariously enough, the song's instantly recognizable piano intro didn't grab any response from the audience.
