Starpoint Electric

The debut record of Chapel Hill’s Starpoint Electric borrows bits and pieces of what preceded it, particularly Archers of Loaf and Small. This could be part of the reason the Loaf brought them along on their final tour. The songs are catchy, occasionally twangy and rock in their own right. It’s a little on the short side since most of the seven songs are over four or five minutes in length, but the total time clocks in at 33 minutes. Makes one wonder why they didn’t throw one more on there.
